Life010 - The Parabolic Teaching Method of the Master After the National Rejection of the King Messiah, Yeshua began a new method of teaching and a new method of ministry. No longer would He teach in clear propositional truth, instead in parables. Parables are teachings "to get around" the message. The Messiah offered the Kingdom to the Nation. That Kingdom offer was rejected by the leadership of Israel who had placed Him under investigation. They sent a delegation from every city in all of Israel (Jerusalem, Judea and Galilee). This rejection lead to a new method of ministry and purpose. Phase 2 begins the rejection stage of His Messiahship.

The Messiah was an itinerate Rabbi that taught the “Gospel of the Kingdom” During the initial stages of His ministry, He did not the “Gospel” of His death, burial, and resurrection. He actually healed and did miracles on the Sabbath in order to get a reaction from the Jewish leadership. This reaction would lead to an investigation and later a conviction. This would ultimately fulfill His purpose of Salvation. The Healing of the Leper lead to the initial stage of investigation. Listen as we see the progression of the Messiah’s Kingdom message.
Two chapters in the book of Leviticus is devoted to the healing of a leper. Since the Torah was given no Jewish person was healed of leprosy until Yeshua healed the Leper in Mark 1:40. This healing sparked a rigorous investigation by the Jewish leadership. Listen to the sermon dealing with the connection of Leviticus 13 and 14 to the Messianic miracle. The Master is the Rabbi teacher and gathers His Yeshiva students for THE MOST AMAZING SCHOOL OF LIFE EVER! My boss is a Jewish Rabbi, not a carpenter. He was not initially preaching the Gospel. Typically I do not use the life of a modern contemporary person in my message. Especially on the heels of their death.
Steve Jobs is a well respected entrepreneur and has had a great impact on many people in this generation. I am not one to judge him or his destiny. Words are very powerful.
I did hear a speech that Steve Jobs delivered at a graduation speech several years ago. This message is worth evaluating.
